Guardians of the Cats
For Affiliated Sanctuaries & Rescue Ministries
Guardians of the Cats exists to uphold compassion as sacred work. That requires not only devotion, but integrity—so that our ministry remains credible, peaceful, and protected.
By affiliating as a Sanctuary or Rescue Ministry, you agree to the following:

-
We will use GOTC documentation and language to support calm communication, not intimidation.
-
We will not use GOTC materials to threaten, harass, or escalate conflict.
-

Conduct in Conflict
-
We will seek peaceful resolution and reasonable solutions first.
-
We will practice restraint, dignity, and de-escalation—especially in public-facing disputes.
-
We will document issues responsibly and communicate with clarity rather than emotional reactivity.

-
We will prioritize safety for humans and cats and seek proper help when situations become unsafe.
Transparency & Ethics

We will operate ethically in animal care, fundraising, and public communications.
-
We will not mislead supporters, donors, or officials.
-
If GOTC requests clarification regarding public claims made under affiliation, we will cooperate in good faith.
Acknowledgment

We agree to carry this ministry with integrity—so mercy is protected, not undermined.
